Solving the problem
Having decided that the cause of a problem might be in childhood, we somehow need to reach into that hidden world of yesterday. We have to reverse through three stages of trauma development to get back to the cause.
The three stages are:
1. Cause. Fear into which guilt is added, usually before puberty.
2. Trigger. An event in adult life that brings the forgotten trauma into sub-conscious memory.
3. Symptoms. A conscious reaction to the original trauma without the memory of the cause.
